knitting olympics (or where xie comes across as a moron. again.)

so.. i had been debating about participating in the knitting olympics:



had thought and thought and debated and thought.. thing is -- between going out to cville this weekend to visit sister aubli + stephen this weekend (and, if all things go according to plan, also hedwig + the angry inch and moment of flight), a photoshoot next weekend with ms. purgatori + nihilus, and a maya projekt and coporate identity projekt due, i don't think i'll have the time to cram something "challenging" from start to finish in 16 days. ohhhhhh well.....

but then i decided to perhaps consider the time limit part the actual challenge, with everything else i need to do, and make something not terribly complicated.

so i emailed ms. stephanie about joining in..

AND THEN, afterwards, found a post in the blog dated yesterday that the deadline was last night, midnight.

d'oh.. so, i missed the deadline. oh well. of course, i found the spot where it said it AFTER emailing about it, which means i come across as a moron. oh well.. c'est la vie.

i might perhaps do it anyway, unofficially.. but then again, i have a lot on my plate at the moment..
